Banana Peel MOCs
These MOCs are part of a series of MOCs built for New Elementary. A more in-depth analysis of the seed part used in these MOCs can be found here.
Paelien
Admittedly, these last two MOCs for the banana peel feel more like tablescraps, but I really wanted to showcase something with the part-spammed texture as well as to promote the (now closed) banana contest. Unfortunately, I was kicking myself for not picking up more of the banana peels at Skaerbaek, but still happy to have made something. This first MOC was very simple, but I'm also glad to have played around a bit with some scenery using the Scala foam.
Peelysaur
A little bit more involved than the previous build, this MOC further builds upon the parts-spammed texture of the peels. I also played around with colors a bit for the creature. Teal and orange naturally complement each other, but the teal also worked to cool down the combined effects of the orange and yellow. Orange is kept as the outermost layer (accent) and the black neutral for the limbs helped the creature read better.
